When Madrid-Waddington Central School in Madrid, New York was searching for a new look for their cafeteria, they were in search of modern, sleek, inviting furniture for their students’ most social common area. The remodel of a school’s cafeteria is no task to take lightly. Studies have shown that young minds are shaped by the nature of their surroundings, and their mental development can be enhanced or diminished by something as commonplace as furniture. This means that educational environments need to be of the highest quality, so that they can last years and make students feel as if the school is their second home.
